Contestants were locked in a jail-themed set, competing in tasks while their darkest secrets were dragged into the open. It was messy, uncomfortable, and completely unmissable. Season 2 picks up exactly where it left off, and then some.

What's New in Season 2

The format has been overhauled significantly. The "jail" set has been redesigned to feel more claustrophobic and oppressive — the production team has clearly invested in making the environment feel genuinely uncomfortable. New game mechanics include a "Solitary Confinement" twist where contestants can be isolated from the group for 48 hours, and a "Confession Booth" segment where contestants are compelled to reveal secrets on camera.

The contestant mix is deliberately provocative — a combination of controversial social media personalities, former reality TV stars, a disgraced politician, and two international contestants who speak no Hindi. The language barrier alone has already produced some of the season's most chaotic moments in the early episodes.

Farah Khan as Host: The Perfect Fit

Whatever one thinks of reality TV, Farah Khan's presence as host is undeniable. Sharp, warm, and with an instinct for when to push and when to pull back, she brings a very different energy to the format — less confrontational than the original, but no less effective at drawing out the truth. Her interventions — unannounced visits to the set, surprise eliminations, and pointed questions that contestants clearly haven't prepared for — remain the show's most compelling moments.

In the season premiere, she arrived unannounced at 3 AM to confront a contestant about a lie they had told in the first episode. The contestant's reaction — genuine, unguarded panic — was the kind of television that reality shows rarely produce anymore.

The Controversy Question

Early episodes have already sparked fierce debates online. A segment in episode three — in which contestants were asked to rank each other by "social value" — drew criticism from mental health advocates who argued the exercise was designed to humiliate. MX Player has defended the segment, stating that all contestants were briefed on the format and had psychological support available throughout filming.

Fans, however, are divided. "This is exactly what reality TV should be — raw and uncomfortable," wrote one viewer. "This is exploitation dressed up as entertainment," countered another. Both camps are watching obsessively.
