Operation Safed Sagar Cast to Join The Great Indian Kapil Show for Special Independence Day Episode

The cast of Netflix's Operation Safed Sagar will come together for a special Independence Day episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, celebrating the courage, sacrifice and spirit of India's Air Warriors.

The episode has been filmed at the Indian Air Force Auditorium in New Delhi, bringing together the cast of the series and the real-life Air Force veterans and families whose stories and legacy inspired it.

Among the distinguished guests were Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, and Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa, former Chief of the Air Staff.

Hosted by Kapil Sharma, the special brings together the worlds of cinema and the armed forces, with the Operation Safed Sagar cast including Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, Dia Mirza, Prajakta Koli, Mihir Ahuja, Taaruk Raina, Arnav Bhasin and Amrita Bagchi interacting with distinguished Indian Air Force officers.

The evening promises plenty of laughter, music and heartfelt moments, while also paying tribute to the real Golden Arrows whose courage and service form the heart of Operation Safed Sagar.

The Netflix series premiered on August 7 and has already entered Netflix's Global Top 10, while trending across 11 countries. The show has received a strong response for its portrayal of one of India's defining military operations and for bringing the human stories behind the mission to audiences around the world.

The special episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show will stream exclusively on Netflix on August 15, as India celebrates its 80th Independence Day.
